Feeling spent? Here is a quick uplifting technique originally developed by Stirling University professor Richard Shone. The more you practice the exercise the more powerful it will become for you. Do this procedure only when you can give it your full attention.

Begin by imagining yourself lying down, feeling very calm and relaxed. Think of the sun and see it bathing you, surrounding you, in golden light. Feel your cheeks comfortably glowing. This sensation spreads throughout your body. With each slow and easy breath you take, you inhale more sunshine. Every cell, organ, and system in your body becomes alive and well with energy. You feel wonderful.

When you are all set, you wake up fully, feeling energetic and ready to go.
